Just an interesting fact! “Spuds Turpentine Company” that operated throughout the 1920s and 1930s. Small aluminum coins the company paid to its employees in lieu of cash (called “scrip”) still pop up in auctions from time to time. So here we have a 35mm aluminum token that was Good for Employees Only for the value of $1.00 in Trade from Spuds Turpentine Co. that was located in Spuds Florida in the 1920's and 1930's. I do have a large quantity and am open to offers on them all.
