By the wide metal whisker bar, this is a Type 1 Brooklyn Metal Stamping crystal radio with galena crystal. It was manufactured in Brooklyn NY around 1922 or earlier. This thing works!! I could hear several AM broadcast stations using a long wire antenna. I also recorded a video using my signal generator. I have not tried to clean it and I certainly did not want to sand or paint it. It has the original 1920s finish and does not look all that bad. This is a rare and historically valuable radio. Please consider using one of the better shipping methods. Things tend to get delayed or lost on USPS Ground Advantage. This item like all of our items will be well packed.
