This is an original large handbill used to advertise an appearance by Jim Morrison of The Doors at a Creative Arts Festival at United States International University (USIU) in San Diego, CA. Morrison was at the Solomon Little Theatre on 8/18/69 for a screening of the Doors’ self-made documentary “Feast of Friends.” It also advertises an appearance the following day by his friend, poet Michael McClure. It measures approximately 8-1/2”x12-3/4” and is in very good condition with some creasing towards the top and light handling around the border. There is a handwritten notation indicating that the dates of two other appearances were switched. This is the only example of this handbill that I have ever seen. This item will be carefully packed for shipment.
