Fits any pump like the ones in photos 5, 13, 14, etc, see list below. Study the photos and ask questions before purchasing. Ducati sells bare pump 43040041A for $258.00. Genuine Bosch part purchased directly from the Bosch distributor in Italy, with the computer controlled factory seals on the boxes. Pumps are sealed in bags of preservative, inside the special box (in our photos, new pump is silver and old pump is gold). There have been slight differences in the castings over the years, as shown in photos 3 and 4, but all of the hoses and fittings line up EXACTLY! The generic chinese pumps are dirt cheap, but why risk it, when The Real McCoy is available here at a fair price, and installs exactly as intended by Ducati. Installation instructions are simple, and you need only a regular size screwdriver and a tiny one, once the pump unit is out of the tank: Disassembly: 1) Remove pump plate from fuel tank. Sometimes, the big green sealing o-ring swells and is difficult to reuse, so have a replacement available. 2 ) Remove electrical plug from pump, noting that it is a self-locking type, easily displaced with a small screwdriver. Photo 6 3) Remove fuel hose with clamp at top of pump, and top end of small hose from bottom of white plastic housing. Everything else can be left in place, unless you choose to change additional pieces. Photos 7, 8, 9 4) Lift pump rubber housing with white plastic filter base up and away from assembly. Photos 7, 8, 9 5) Pull white mesh filter off the pump rubber. Photo 10 6) White plastic piece on end of pump is held in place with a spring clamp, WITHOUT any circlip groove on the pump body, so just pop it loose with a tiny screwdriver. Photos 11, 12 7) Push old pump downwards from rubber cup, and push new one back in. Photos 13, 14 Reassembly: 8) White plastic piece held by clip only fits nicely one way, so just rotate it until it looks right, and replace the spring clip. Photos 15, 16 9) Push filter sleeve back onto rubber housing without collapsing due to excessive force. Use a little gasoline friendly grease where you need it (new pump is covered in it, inside the sealed plastic bag). 10) Rotate the filter screen hose until the notch in the rubber housing is above the filter screen hose. Photo 8 11) Press the rubber sleeve with pump back into the housing plate, rotating the assembly so that everything lines up. 12) Reattach filter screen hose at top. 13) Reattach fuel hose and camp at top of pump. 14) Push wiring plug into top of pump until it clicks into place. 15) Use appropriate grease on that big green o-ring and use patience to reinstall assembly into bottom of fuel tank.
