Here's a fancy embossed brass escutcheon cover plate for an old furniture sized, old-school radio that we dug-up while hunting for antique bottles. This went over the radio channel indicator wheel. The two sharp points in the center hole were to line you up on the numbers and hash marks on the indicator wheel, so you could tune- in exactly to the channel or station that you desired to listen to. I’d date this late 1920s - early 1930s. It says: RADIOTROPE NEUTRODYNE and has Patent Pending and some other words underneath the bottom fastener hole, that are too small for my old eyes to make out.
