Check the listing for details. Antique Musket Rifle F.J. Malherbe? Hammer Lock Plate & Trigger Guard Assembly. Condition: For parts or not working. Listed at 114.99 USD. Lock is in much better shape than the trigger guard. From my research it keeps coming back to Mahlerbe but I swear that mark says BRESCIA which would refer to northern Italy at one time. It appears to be inscribed? as well? I don't think that's a stamp could be something from the original owner but really can't hold my own with gun parts it's a new category for me. All I know is this is a back action percussion lock plate, possibly an import with the design being around 1840 probably a later manufacture.
