Check the listing for details. Antique Native American Navajo Weaving Rug. Color: Multi-Color, Made in USA. Listed at 100.00 USD. This unfinished Navajo weaving was deaccessioned from a museum and has a tag with a name on it which may be the weavers name? If I’m reading the tag correctly it says, “(Mrs.) F. E. HARPER / NAVAJO / 10240 Wallace Loan” The tag is a 19th century doctors’ prescription tag upside down and used for this information from the museum. The unfinished weaving measures approximately 14” x 10” not counting the sticks. Also, there is an old piece of red silk material used to gather the sticks together that I didn’t untie. It looks like the person who was weaving this stopped, tied it up and never finished? This antique Navajo fragment is sold with NO reserve!
