Atlas Craftsman Metal Lathe replacement Crossfeed thumb wheel crank. This item is a custom designed 3D printed in high density, high temperature plastic with steel reinforcement part that looks very much like the original pot metal part from these lathes. The original part was very easy to break during lathe transport so typically was damaged or missing. This part replaces that missing crossfeed thumb wheel handle. This part is plastic and designed to match the look and feel of the original while offering rigidity in the places that need it. The part comes in gray/silver color but can be painted to match existing machine colors if desired. This part is not quite as strong as a metal replacement part but it looks decent and should last a long while before wearing out if treated reasonably well, and comes at a much more affordable price compared to a metal replacement.
