Ballas diamonds are naturally occuring round diamonds that are polycrystalline, formed as aggregates of diamond grains concentrically arranged with radiating structure into a roughly spherical stone. Most ballas diamonds are found in Brazil, but this one was mined in Canada making it extra rare! The stone is relatively dark at first glance but is transparent when shining a light through it (refer to the video).
