Check the listing for details. British Pattern 1851 Bayonet, 79th Regt of Foot, Crimean War, Civil War Scarce. Condition: Used, Made in United Kingdom. Listed at 290.00 USD. British Pattern 1851Bayonet The blade is marked with Crown/B/13 and Crown/B/7, as are all Pattern 1851 bayonets I have seen. Engraved on the socket is "L 35 79" which I believe translates to Co. They saw considerable action against the Russians until replaced during the war with the Pattern 1853.
