Item: Flask Make: CF Rumpp & Sons (Philidelphia, PA) Age: Late 19th Century Construction: Cut Glass, Silver Over Brass Lid Dimensions: 4 1/8" Tall x 2" Wide x 7/8" Deep Condition: Good pre-owned antique condition. Significant scratches and two small dents in cap. Some wear on edges of bottom facets. No chips or cracks. Please see photos. Details: Small faceted cut glass flask, or flat bottle with round bulbous cap with cork liner hinged to a fitted silver over brass collar. Collar & cap cover entire neck of flask. Cap closes securely with some light pressure. Carl Frederrich Rumpp was German born silversmith who moved to Philadelphia in mid-1800s. The company mark is on the collar consisting of an upper-case R inside a keystone.
