Condition: Used, Made in United Kingdom. Listed at 149.00 USD. I bought this knife from Rafael Eledge, who owns Shiloh Relics. He stated it was a Civil War Knife. He's the expert. But the maker is Harrison Bros, and Howson as indicated on blade. It also states "Cutlers to her Majesty" along with crown V and R. That would be Queen Victoria. The Harrison Bros. and Howson started in 1849 but made knives well beyond the Civil War. Maybe Rafael's expertise sees something I can't because I'm not an expert. It looks to be a Harrison/Howson blade that later was made into a knife with what looks like a antler or horn handle held on by a pin. The knife has a brash guard with some kind if washer. It's definitely a 19th century knife. Having said all that, I'm offering a low buy it now below what I paid. The blade is 7 inches. Overall is 10 1/2.
