Communications Specialists PE-100 is a 100-call type sequential two-tone paging encoder, primarily designed for Fire-EMS Stations and Dispatch Centers to send pages to one or a group of pagers, portables and mobiles. Tone plan is selectable by jumpers located on the circuit board. Originally 12VAC, unit was modified to operate on 12VDC, thereby allowing mobile as well as stationary use. Unit was working when removed from service. A couple of keys are a little stubborn and not recommended for emergency dispatches, but works perfectly as it has been doing for years--located on a test bench in a pager repair shop.
