The main trilobite on the plate is a complete Olenellus chiefensis. This type has a narrow head and small glabella - this specimen showcases these features beautifully. The striking trilobite is complete with tailspine and beautifully preserved. But the cool feature of this plate is that there are Olenellus gilberti trilobites above AND below the O. chiefensis, a Bolbolenellus brevispinus right under the O. chiefensis, and a Nephrolenellus head on the right side of the O. chiefensis! That's FOUR different species on one plate...wow! This is a very collectible specimen of four different species of Lower Cambrian trilobites preserved on one rock.
