This ribbon is slightly narrower than a modern ribbon, so some of the brass front clip may be visible. Sources say that this ribbon was changed due to its similarity to the French Legion of Honor ribbon, differing only in the dark red edges. Single and multiple mounts (required for wear or display) are available in my store--be sure to purchase a ribbon mount if you need one; you cannot wear this ribbon without one.
