Check the listing for details. NAMED Vietnam Era USAF Service Cap Bancroft DSA 1970 Type I Hat Air Force Blue. Condition: Used. Listed at 15.00 USD. Original Vietnam-era U.S. Air Force Service Cap (Men’s Type I) manufactured by Bancroft Cap Co. under contract DSA 100-70-C-1336, corresponding to Fiscal Year 1970. Marked to spec MIL-C-3095D (USAF) and made of 60% polyester / 40% wool. This cap retains its original silver-colored USAF Great Seal cap badge, black leather chin strap, and side eagle buttons. Inside is the plastic sweat shield and an original name card (“Bruce Gibbs”). Condition • Clean exterior with only minor wear from storage. • Leather visor and chin strap show expected light use. • Interior sweatband shows some separation/fraying at the rear seam (photographed). • No odors, tears, or other damage.
