Native American basket, I believe this to be Makah or Nuu-chah-nulth of the Pacific NW Coast of America. Cedar bark, bear grass. It features red geometric weaving pattern. The basket was lined and hand stitched with early cotton fabric. I believe the basket dates to 1906-20's. 6" diameter x 3.25" high. Beautifully woven base appears to be in great condition.
