Available for immediate purchase, is this unissued, post-war BGS helmet, in the hard to find size of 68 with a big size 61 liner, and in the most rare factory-issued paint, which is tan. This is a very unique BGS helmet, and there is quite a bit of information, and misinformation, on the internet about this type. There is a story about the helmets being sold on a contract to the Egyptian army, hence the tan paint, but I’m unsure about that. In any case, it’s a real part of German helmet history and evolution, and looks fantastic on display. Thank you.
