US Military Model 1909 Bolo Knife, First Year production 1909. Knife measures 19.5" OAL, 14" blade. Very good condition blade showing a smooth lightly spotted age patina, guard slightly bent. Knife is tight with no looseness anywhere. Pommel end shows a tiny hairline crack on the left side from the brass rivet. Wood looks very good, has some light handling wear. Blade stamped, "US 3163 / SA 1909" with a flaming bomb ordnance stamp in the center. No Scabbard. A great looking first year production.
