The kit features a new and improved throwout bearing a CNC-machined housing, and both 5/16- and 3/8-inch mounting studs with adjuster nuts to fit a wide variety of GM manual transmission applications to correctly set your air gap between the bearing face and clutch. The built-in fail-safe retainer prevents separation of the bearing due to over extension. There is simply no way to over-extend this release bearing with this retainer design.
