This beautiful and rare placenticeras ammonite was found in an Eagle Ford formation exposure in Denton County, Texas by a friend. The ammolite-like rainbow iridescence looks very similar to the placenticeras specimens from the northern USA & Canada locales. Please review ALL photos!
