This is a rare Keuffel & Esser Co. surveying transit from the early 1900s, featuring a unique twisted-frame design. Made in the United States, Please see photos for overall condition!! And see my description!!! The box is missing brass tag and key and keyhole cover wood has wear. The transit is missing parts look over photos well. This transit is not complete and not perfect!! Would be a great one for restoring or displaying. This is however a very sought after transit. Buy it now or send me your best offer. Came from an estate years ago, I’ve had it on display in my cabinet for years the twisted frame design and the overall appearance of the wear of this set up has a great look showing that this was used for many years in a different time period. .
