Vintage Early Alma and Ernst Lorenzen of Lantz Nova Scotia Canada Red Clay Mushroom Tricholoma. This beautiful mushroom has bright red caps and tan stems and gills. This is one of the early mushroom models with holes in the base and signature and mushroom genus and species inked under the base. This model is completely done by hand using clay found in Lantz Nova Scotia. Painted with mineral based paint colors made only by Lorenzen studios. Lorenzen mushroom models were created so accurately that they have been used in schools and universities as teaching tools.This piece is in very good condition with some crazing under the base.
