I am a clarinetist. So why would I ever purchase an oboe? Well, I’m still trying to answer that question. Was it a dare? Was it for the challenge? I really don’t know, but the bottom line is that I’m sticking with my clarinet and bass clarinet. This is listed as a “performance grade” instrument. I opened the box looked at and ran! It really should go to a new home where it will be appreciated. Includes everything seen—instrument, case, cover, white gloves, swabs. Amazon is showing this in excess of $800.00.
