Check the listing for details. San Ildefonso Pueblo Black-on-Black Eagle Tail Pot - Cavan Gonzales - 4.75" W. Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 279.00 USD. For sale is a beautiful black-on-black clay pottery jar by the noted Ildefonso Pueblo potter/artist Cavan Gonzales (b. 1970). The jar is about 4 3/4" wide by about 3 1/4" tall, and it features vertical eagle feather around most of the body, with one section including step and other pueblo symbols. The majority of the pot is stone-polished black, with a matte band to offset the decoration. There are also three tadpoles along the rim. The pot is signed on the bottom 'Cavan Gonzales Eagle Tail'. Some very minor surface rub wear, but no significant scratches, and certainly no cracks or chips.
