This copy of The POSTAGE STAMPS OF THE UNITED STATES by John N. Luff was copyright 1897 by the Scott Stamp & Coin Co., Ltd. and released in 1902. The hardbound covers look it's age but the binding is tight and the pages are clean and legible. It has 417 gold gilt edged pages. This has been in my possession since I bought it in October 1976 as shown in the pic with my receipt from the stamp dealer at a cost of $100 plus state tax. I was much younger then and had only been collecting mostly U.S. stamps but was told that two of the best books on United States stamps were by Tiffany and Luff so I had them both. Since none of the children and grandchildren want to continue this hobby, it's time to give everything a new home.
