Check the listing for details. Tlingit Northwest Coast Stone Frog Form Tobacco Mortar. Listed at 2999.99 USD. I've had this great old frog mortar in my collection for about 25 years. I believe it to be Tlingit and most likely a mortar but some have suggested its a grease bowl. The frog has typical Tlingit ovoid eyes and mask as well as the stylized feet and toes. The back of the frog shows so much use that the back legs are worn flat. As can be seen in the last two photos there are some old paint drips on the mortar. The mortar measures approximately 6 by 3 1/2 by 3 inches.Look carefully at all the photos, they are an important part of the description. If you have any questions please email me.
