Check the listing for details. US Cavalry Model 1875 Holster for Colt .45 SAA or S&W Schofield. Condition: New. Listed at 58.00 USD. In 1875 the Ordnance Department modified the 1874 pattern holster so it would accept both the Colt Single Action Army and the Smith & Wesson Schofield It retained the Hoffman swivel, which had a limited pivot to prevent the holster inverting and losing the pistol. The belt loops fits all standard Civil War and Indian War period 1 3/4" leather belts. This holster is made according to Ordnance drawings, so it is VERY tight when new. You must wet form the holster to get a proper fit. PLEASE NOTE: This holster is made to fit original S&W Schofield revolvers. IT WILL NOT FIT the new Schofield replicas made in .45 Long Colt because of the extra cylinder length.
