It simply means these are the most cost-effective scales we sell. These are first quality (not seconds), hand cut and individually selected scales. How can we do this? We continually scour the internet and local sources for the best price on domestic and exotic lumber. When we find it, we buy it. We are then able to pass those savings along to you. Why would we do this? Many of the species you see in this listing would normally be much more expensive but we made the decision to not place so much emphasis on their "perceived value" but rather to price them based upon our costs. Many of these scales are in very short supply at this price. In these trying times we figure it's only fair to pass the savings on to you. If you like it, buy it. It may not be here tomorrow.
