This uncirculated 500 Vatu Vanuatu note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu to commemorate the 2017 South Pacific Mini Games. It is a purple, red, blue, and green polymer note that is dated 2017, bear the signatures of Simeon M. Athy and Gaetan Pikioune, and measures 135 x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a conch shell, a waterway, a Melanesian chief standing and holding a spear, the map of the Vanuatu islands, and the overprint of the VANUATU 2017 / Pacific Mini Games logo. Its reverse side shows the map of the Vanuatu islands, boys dancing outside a large building while a kneeling man draws in the sand, and a conch shell. The note does not have a security thread or watermark.
