It was designed to accommodate both: GermanP38 pistol andCZECH Cz 38 pistol ( German designation for capturedCzech Cz38 ). An extra layer of leather was added in the magazine pouch for CZ mags that were more narrow being in 380 ACP ( see red arrow), P38 magazine also fits into this pouch, so the holster can be used with either gun.
