Check the listing for details. Vintage 1967 Rensselaer County Republican Party Dinner Souvenir Lighter USA. Made in United States. Listed at 99.00 USD. Up for sale is this interesting old lighter. It as recently found in a local estate. It was apparently given out at a Republican Dinner is 1967.It shows minor signs of wear and tear , but does not appear to have been lit.It is sold as a collectors item. I have no idea if it would work. See photos for more details.Sold As Is, as found in the estate. See my other listings for a few more old lighters. A brief internet search turned up a newspaper article from June 10 th 1967 in Troy NY(Part of Rensselear County). A fire broke out at The Republican Dinner being held at The Crooked Lake Hotel. Guests filed out of the resort and the dinner was not resumed. Ironically , they were giving out these lighters !
