I was part of the construction crew that was remodeling an old courthouse in southeastern KY. This exit sign was put up in 1973 and was removed in 2025. It is 53 years old. The wiring is old and the bracket holding the light inside needs to be replaced. Sometime in the past it had been removed. The exit window on the right side is the one to open because the other side will not open. The windows is a tad temperamental when closing. This is an older exit sing which wedge style has been phased out in favor of the more compact flat two sided led signs.
