This is a vintage original jumbo window card or boxing style poster for a rhythm and blues and soul music “Mom’s Apple Pie Show” concert at the Theatre of the Performing Arts in New Orleans, Louisiana. This concert featured Tyrone Davis and Clarence Carter and special guest Marva Wright who is touted as “New Orleans Hottest Blues Artist”. Also shown on the poster is “the one and only” Bobby Marchan who was MC for this show. This poster is printed one side only on lightweight cardboard and measures about 33” x 22”. The lower margin indicates this poster was printed by the Globe Poster Printing Corporation of Baltimore, Maryland. Also printed in the lower margin is year 1991. The concert was held on Saturday, January 11th which would be 1992. This poster features a photomontage design with images of performers Tyrone Davis, Clarence Carter and Bobby Marchan against pink and green dayglow background. All of the artists featured on this concert had national success as professional musicians in the R&B, Soul and/or Blues formats. This vintage original poster has staple or tack holes on the edges and a couple small puncture holes as well as some lateral creasing at the center.
