The company we purchase these LCD's from has a plant in Petersburg, Germany but packaged and distributed from China.Technical Notes:This LCD not compatible with polarized glasses.There are 27 amber LED's under the LCD display and diffuser. In some cases the LED's are out and can cause blank lines or dimness. I've included a picture of a cluster from our service center with 3 LED's out, so its always a good thing to check when replacing the LCD. The picture is with the LCD and diffuser out. You're looking directly at the LED's.Also if you turn on or start your car without cluster installed you may have a SRS warning lightilluminate. Don't worry; it can be cleared with the proper code reader.VERY IMPORTANT . The LCD is very delicate and will break if you pry on glass during installation , If this happens there is no manufacture warranty . I know this because I've seen it happen in our own shop with new techs.
