These were used in HP / Agilent test equipment including the HP 8924C and 8590 series of spectrum analyzers. The reference will work fine with 12 - 18 VDC and draws 310 ma at start up for 2 minuets, then draws 80 ma. A 5 volt regulator has been added to the outside of the unit so only a single 12-18 VDC power source is needed. Without the 5V regulator, it would need a 15v (12-18v) and a 5 volt power source. The unit outputs a 0 dBm (1.4 Vpp) sine wave and has a short 2 minuet warmup time. Unit has a smb output connector and include an smb to smb and smb to BNC output cable. There is a frequency adjustment under the screw on the bottom of the reference. The 0.01 ppm stability means at 10 MHz, it is accurate to within 0.1 Hz.
