It fits the battery snugly but does not use the snap in feature. Keep it simple. EGO makes a 120V AC inverter, but not a 12V DC converter. Both can support electronics chargers, but 12V DC can more easily support portable inflators, telescopes, and astronomical mounts. NOTESTurn the switch off before connecting to battery, to avoid arcing.Pay attention to the charge indicator on your Ego battery, as this converter doesn't include a low voltage cutoff.The body is 3d printed in PETG. This is strong and lightweight plastic (partly hollow), tolerant to heat up to 80C (176 F) without softening. On the minus side, it sometimes prints with minor cosmetic flaws. We think our prints look pretty good, though.
