Beautiful large antique Scandinavian Dowry/Wedding chest. Trunk is in its original state. Hand painted with monogram and date 1834, made of solid walnut. Chest has original legs and candle box. Legs are not attached but are in the trunk. In very good condition for its age. Approximately 27 inches high x 50.5 inches wide x 23.5 inches. Well cared for over the years. Perfect size to hold blankets.
