Check the listing for details. 1853 Pattern Cent 1c J-150 NGC PR63 CAC. Listed at 5750.00 USD. A cent with the obverse a quarter eagle! An experiment from a timer when the mint considered complete standardization across all denominations (we're glad this exists but also glad they didn't go with it ;) Silvery-pewter proof surfaces with soft gold and ice-blue overtones give this J-150 real presence, the fields showing good mirror flash against delicately frosted devices for a pleasing contrast. Sharply struck throughout with crisp rims and fully defined leaves on the reverse wreath. The look is original and even, with just a touch of faint field friction that caps the grade. Housed in an earlier-generation holder, augmented by an Eagle Eye Photo Seal and a well-deserved green CAC sticker - the eye appeal is confidently above the assigned number.
