Bought a group of these coins and passing the deal onto the customer. They are from the estate of an elderly man who passed away in the 1990s. He had some overruns of coins he had designed and made for different military units and other special occasions. These were stored away in boxes in his attic until the family recently discovered them--these appear to be from mid to late 1990s. It is a nice National Security Agency (NSA) / SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) early challenge coin. A great addition to a collection...at a nice price! The 18th Intelligence Squadron (18 IS) is a space control intelligence organization of the United States Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The squadron provides, through space systems expertise, tailored intelligence to the planning, development, and execution of space control operations.
