This is a 26-page booklet (see picture) entitled BASEBALL MADE PLAIN, published in 1957 by the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball. As the cover states, this is "a simple explanation of how to understand--and enjoy--America's Greatest Game". There are several black and white sketches scattered throughout the booklet, too. It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 67 years. Except for six words underlined on Page 8, there appears to be no handwriting in the booklet. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that baseball novice, baseball historian, or vintage publication collector in your life! Postage is $4.50.
