The 1957 Series $1 silver certificate is the first US paper currency with "In God We Trust" on the reverse. This serial number has 8 unique digits which is found on only 1.8% of bills. Please look closely at the lower left hand serial number. The 8 is thinner, or maybe a different font, from the top right serial number 8 and the 5 is slightly raised higher than the other digits on the lower left serial number.
