The cases on specimen sets made between 1971 and 1973 were notoriously poorly made. The red velvet that houses the coins constantly flakes off when you touch it and adhere's to the coins. A rinse in warm water or acetone will remove the red velvet dust from all the coins except the penny which is most often found with a permanently damaged reverse. These sets that I'm selling are the best ones I've found in about a decade so although they are not perfect, it would be tough to find better ones. All items are handled with care and packaged well!
