These are collectible pieces with a filled mint mark on the Obverse, a dot between "E Pluribus", a round earth design on the Reverse and also are the narrow-rim/far-date variant. The composition is a cupro-nickel clad outer layer (75% copper, 25% nickel) bonded to a pure copper core. These were minted in Denver, Colorado and have a business strike type. They are in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED (AU) condition! Although uncertified, these error coins from the United States Mint are valuable additions to any coin collection.
