Vintage Repousse Sterling Silver Plaque of a South American Male Dancer or Deity wearing a skirt decorated with an ear of corn, a symbol of sustenance and sometimes fertility. Circa 19th century, from south American, probably Peru area. Please see photos. Measurements: 6.5" wide x 9.5" long x 3/4" deep Weight: 166.2 grams Condition: Minor scratches and scuffs from wear and usage. Tarnished from age. This piece must have been hung on a wall because there are three holes at the top and three holes at the bottom. There is a slit in the tummy of 3/4". Please see photos.
