Up for sale here is this set of two (2) Stackpole 82 ohm 1-watt carbon comp resistors, from the late 1950s. These are new old stock--brand new, never used, out of the original box. I tested a few of these and they tested around 7-8% over the marked 82-ohm rating, mostly around 88-89 ohms. I have heard that you can toast these in a toaster oven and that will make them test much closer to the original marked rating. Please see my pictures for details.
