They are 3D printed, they are not perfect and they do have a rough surface texture and the font is slightly different than original. Are they better than nothing? yes! Are they better than your original 50+ year old tank badges? Probably, they are A LOT better looking than my old ones. They are printed using flexible TPU filament so they are rubbery and flexible. The yamaha logo and the outline are semi-transparent, you can spray paint the backside with white to match original or another color if you like.
