They are great for raising your bed for under bed storage space. They are popular for college students that live in dorms with low beds. The overall height is 8", but the recessed top is about 1/2" giving you about 7.5" of underbed storage space height. Each riser is rated for 350lbs max per the label on the side. The 2 outlets are great for providing nearby power as well as the USB charging ports. The power riser has a 5 ft power cord rated at 12 Amps. The outlets and plugs were tested.
