The blocks are up to 1-1/8" thick and 6x6" square. The granite blocks are black in color. These 6x6" granite blocks are a great aid in leather working for stamping and tooling your patterns on leather as they provide a solid surface to work. For an even better stamping and tooling experience add a matching rubber poundo board like the one's that Tandy Leather sell. The poundo board helps to cushion the granite block and also will protect whatever surface you are working on. These are brand new unused granite blocks. Some may have small defects in finish such as small chips, and or scratches scratches. However any such defect will not affect the use of the granite block. Some of these blocks may have been used for retail display and have mounting matt on the backs, however they have never been used.
