This is a part of a 2-pc cable system used on cars with factory cruise control, which had 1 cable run from the transmission to the cruise control servo, and 1 cable run from the cruise control servo to the speedometer. Cable threads onto cruise control servo (5/8" threaded port) and threads onto the transmission (7/8" threaded port), and is considered the lower cable. This cable is roughly 62" long and will need to be routed correctly to avoid kinking. You will not be able to use a cable shorter than required.
